Admission Notification for Bachelor of Vocation
B.Voc. 2015-16

          Applications are invited for admission to the newly introduced three years Full Time B.Voc (Bachelor of Vocation) Degree Programmes for the academic year 2015-16.
The B.Voc Programme is focused on universities and colleges, which would also incorporate specific job roles along with broad based general education. It is designed with the objective of equipping the students to cope with the emerging trends and challenges in the Food Processing and Automobile Sector.

B.Voc Programs Available at College are as Follows :
B.Voc : Food Processing : 50 Seats
B.Voc : Automobile : 50 Seats

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.Voc in Food Processing :
          Candidates with 10+2/Inter/Higher Secondary in any stream from recognized boards are eligible for applying to B.Voc Programme.
Candidates whose results are awaited can also apply on provisional basis.

Selection Procedure for B.Voc admission 2015-16 :
          The candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (carrying 50% Weightage) & screening Test/Interview (carrying  50% Weightage) or any other method as may be decided later on by the selection committee.

Rules of Reservation for B.Voc Admission 2015-16 :
          Reservation of seats as per the Government of India rules apply.
OBC - Non Creamy Layer : 27%
SC : 15%
ST : 7.5%
PH/PwD : 3%

How to Apply for Admission in B.Voc - 2015-16 :
          Application Form may be downloaded from the College website www.isdc.ac.in w.e.f. 01st Dec. 2015.
Application form complete in all respect is to be submitted to Office of the Principal, Iswar Saran Degree College, University of Allahabad, Allahabad-211004.
Candidate are required to submit fee of Rs. 500/- only (Rs. 250 for SC/ST/PH) for B.Voc Programmes through Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank in favour of Principal, Iswar Saran Degree College, Allahabad with each Application Form.

Details of Qualifications and Experience :
          Details of Qualifications and experience etc. for the posts in above departments specialisation shall be as per UGC regulations on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and other academic staff in universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education 2010 amended from time to time for which UGC website www.ugc.ac.in may be referred.

Assistant Professor Food Processing :

Essential Qualification :
1.       Good Academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
2.       Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligible Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC.
3.       Notwithstanding anything herein above at sr.no. 1 and 2, candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.


 

Assistant Professor : Automobile

Essential Qualifications :
1.       Good Academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
2.       Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligible Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC.
3.       Notwithstanding anything herein above Sr. No. 1 and 2, candidate, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET for requirement and appointment of Assistant Professor.

B.      Desirable Qualifications :
1.       Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization;
2.       Paper presented at Conferences and/or published in referred journals.

OTHER CONDITIONS :

  • The application form must be accompanied by additional sheets (whever required) and enclosures giving details of academic qualifications, experience, published work etc.
  • Relaxation of 5% marks (from 55% to 50%) will be provided at the Master's level in the case of SC/ST/PWD (Persons with Disability) and to those Ph.D. degree holders, who have passed their Master's Degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible, based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures.
  • The period of time taken by candidates to acquire M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. Degree shall not be considered as teaching/research experience to be claimed for appointment to the teaching positions.
  • The reservation for the SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be as per the Government of India rules.
  • Candidates seeking reservation under OBC are required to submit certificate on the format prescribed by the Government of India, Department of Personnel & Training. Socially & Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) candidates will be considered as OBC only if they submit the required certificate on the above mentioned format. Further, they shall submit the declaration given at the end of the application form.
  • The appointment under OBC quota is provisional and is subject to the community certificate being verified through the proper channels. If the verification reveals that the claim of the candidate to belong to Other Backward Classes or not to belong to creamy layer is false, his/her services will be terminated forthwith without assigning any further reasons and without prejudice to such further action as may be taken under the provisions of Indian Panel Code for production of false certificates.
  • Vacancies are only Short Term Contract basis. The selected candidates shall be appointed under a written contract.
  • Consolidated salary fixed by the College/University will be paid to the selected candidates.
  • No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
  • Applications not accompanied by necessary supporting documents, self-attested copies of degree certificates/marks sheets/experience certificate/category certificate/publication/reprints (if applicable) issued by the competent authority and the incomplete applications shall be rejected summarily.
  • Before applying for a post, candidates are advised to satisfy themselves about their eligibility. No enquiry in this regard will be entertained.
  • The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum and the mere possession of the same will not entitle a candidate for being called for interview.
  • The University shall verify the antecedents or documents submitted at any time at the time of appointment or during the tenure of the service. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted are fake or the candidate has clandestine antecedents/background and has suppressed the said information, his/her services shall be terminated forthwith.
  • The process of selection may be by a Presentation/Interview or a combination thereof.
  • Canvassing in any form may lead to cancellation of candidature.

  • In case of any disputes, any suites or legal proceedings against the college, the territorial jurisdiction shall be restricted to the Courts in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.
