National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) :
National Service Scheme, popularly known as NSS has ten units in the college which is governed by the government of India. The aims and objectives of NSS is to work among and with people, to develop a desire to serve the weaker section of community and to gain skills in democratic leadership. Under this programme, labour-service, adult education, plantation of trees, and various other programmes of social benefits are organized. Apart from this each unit organizes a ten-day camp for raising the social consciousness and enhancing creative development among the students. Students are given participation certificates by the University. Students with these certificates get preference in entrance exam of B.Ed. and various other courses and also in government jobs.
